1ST SUNDAY AFTERNOON BALLROOM DANCING & SUNDAY NIGHT SWING DANCING: A fun, friendly, and inclusive afternoon and evening of social dancing. We are celebrating 21 years of Sunday dancing at the Raleigh Elks Lodge. Over 100 dancers join us each Sunday for dancing, lessons, and socializing. Free parking, large wood dance floor, air conditioned, table seating. (cash bar opens at 6:30 pm). All welcome, no partner or experience required. Our dance attendees range in age from their early 20's, to their 70's. Group Discounts Available (10 or more attendees). ONE PRICE ADMISSION: PUBLIC $15, Students $10 (16-24 yrs), CDC Members $12. No online registration. 3 pm - BEGINNER NIGHT CLUB TWO STEP LESSON 4 pm till 6 pm - Foxtrot, Waltz, Samba, Tango, Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Night Club Two Step, Cha Cha, Hustle, Merengue social dancing. DJ Wesley Boz. Stay for the 6 pm - 9:45 pm swing dance that begins right after the afternoon ballroom dancing (included with your admission). EVENING SWING DANCE SCHEDULE: 6 PM Beginner & Intermediate East Coast Swing Lessons. (included with your admission). No partner necessary, very newcomer friendly lessons. 7:45 pm Ice Cream Social. SWING DANCING - 7 PM - 9:45 PM: A swinging mix of lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Blues, West Coast Swing, Country Two Step all evening. How more questions?
