Love swing dancing? Never tried it but interested in learning? Try Swing Dancing at the YMCA of Hannibal this Friday! New to social dancing? No problem. You’re welcome with us! Beginner Lesson - We start at 7pm. Social Dancing - Immediately after the lesson there will be a social dance with mostly East Coast Swing/Lindy-Hop music, a few West Coast Swing songs, and other song styles sprinkled in. You don't need to have a partner to come. You can come alone, with friends, or with a partner. You're always encouraged to invite your friends! While there is no set dress code, we do encourage dressing up. High grip tennis shoes are discouraged, for your convenience more slippery soled shoes or flats are usually easiest. You don't have to be a member at the YMCA of Hannibal to attend. There is no cover charge, though contributions of $5-10+ per person at the event are encouraged.
