Since the 1980s, his birthday has inspired special events around the world in celebration of the man, the music, and the dance. Grounded in unity, joy, and collaboration, World Lindy Hop Day encourages people of all backgrounds to come together and share in the enduring spirit of this dance. Toronto is proud to celebrate alongside Lindy Hop communities across the globe. Toronto World Lindy Hop Day welcomes people from all walks of life, all ages, and from around the world to experience this vibrant Black social dance. Originating in Harlem, New York City, in the 1920s and 1930s, Lindy Hop grew alongside the big band jazz of the era and remains a joyful, creative, and deeply social art form today. ================== REFUND / TRANSFER POLICY There are no refunds.
